Throughout the summer and beyond, our 30-year club tour is leaving its mark around Europe. Serving Belgium's vibrant sound to over 10 European cities, and making 2024 the ultimate year to experience Fuse's clubbing heritage.
Celebrating three decades, we launched the making of "30 Years Fuse," the club's inaugural book, delving deeply into its iconic history. Accompanying it is a new vinyl compilation featuring 30 tracks from both national and international artists, capturing our past, present, and future, and slated for release on November 22nd.

We are honored to finally present our 30YRS Fuse Compilation, a milestone project marking three decades of Fuse's legacy. This carefully curated compilation brings together 30 exceptional artists, each contributing a unique track to reflect the diverse sonic tapestry that has defined our journey. As a true celebration of electronic music, this release pays homage to the past while looking towards the future.

The book “Fuse: 30yrs of making noise” chronicles the evolution of Fuse, showcasing the DJs, the dance floors, the backstage, the staff, and, most importantly, the clubbers. It presents a unique photographic archive of the unforgettable moments that have defined its remarkable 30-year legacy, alongside tons of flyers and posters from the extensive Fuse archive. The book brings dozens of artifacts and memorabilia back to life, objects quintessential to the club’s identity. Lastly, it shares many stories from the protagonists, completing an oral history that stitches together triumphs and challenges, highlighting the collective resilience and spirit that define their shared heritage.

2024 marked the nightclub Fuse’s 30th year of continuous operation on Rue Blaes in Brussels. Belgium is home to cultural visionaries, break-the-mold characters, and prolific producers who helped shape the foundations of the electronic music scene we enjoy today. As a result, Fuse’s story traces the outlines of the house and techno history at large. Through striking visuals, quotes, research, and storytelling, this book connects the dots between the rise of renowned artists and uniquely Belgian characters that crystallized Fuse as a temple of underground dance music.
From Detroit to the Marolles, Ricardo Villalobos to DJ Pierre, Carl Craig to Trish Van Eynde, Daft Punk to Deg, Laurent Garnier to Charlotte de Witte, Warp to Music Man Records, even Depeche Mode to Björk, this book documents not only the iconic performances and moments over the years but also the stories of those who took the risk of running a nightclub and the tens of thousands of dancers who poured their love, sweat, and tears into the labyrinthine walls of Fuse.

The writer:
Koen Galle (born 1983) founded his publishing house, AfterClub, to uncover stories about Belgium's rich electronic music culture and nightlife. He first got hooked on dance music in the late 1990s and eventually made a name for himself as a club and radio DJ. Over time, his fascination with the people and stories behind the music led him to begin writing and publishing.
